Are My Deposits Safe?

Given the circumstances in the financial marketplace and the banking industry, it is understandable that our members would ask about the safety of funds on deposit with IAEFCU.

Deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF).  Regular accounts are insured to $100,000 and retirement accounts are insured to $250,000.

Since credit unions were created by Congress in 1934, there has never been a loss of even one cent of deposits.
